Product overview
Kisspeptin-10 10mg/10vials is a sterile lyophilized research peptide. Kisspeptin-10 is the 10-amino-acid C-terminal fragment of the parent KISS1 gene product and is the minimal sequence that retains full activity at the kisspeptin receptor (KISS1R, also called GPR54). The molecule is a foundational tool peptide in preclinical hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis research, where it is used to probe upstream regulation of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons.
Independently assayed by HPLC and MS, and lot-traceable to the source preparation.
Typical research dose range
Published preclinical HPG-axis protocols use kisspeptin-10 across a wide range. Animal-model studies have used quantities in the range of roughly 1-10 mcg/kg per administration to evoke a measurable LH pulse, with the timing and pulse-pattern of administration being the most consequential variable. Researchers should consult source literature for the specific endpoint under investigation.
Stack and pairing
Kisspeptin-10 is studied alongside GHRH analogs and ghrelin-mimetic secretagogues in protocols that examine cross-talk between the HPG and somatotropic axes. It is also used in study designs that examine the integration of metabolic signals into reproductive control.
Reconstitution and storage
Reconstitute each vial with 1-2 mL of bacteriostatic water for the target working concentration. Use sterile technique. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8 °C and use within 30 days for best stability.
Lyophilized vials should be kept refrigerated at 2-8 °C until first use. For long-term storage beyond six months, store at -20 °C in the original sealed vial. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
