Which vial size should I order?
| Vial size | Reconstitution volume | Concentration @ 2 mL BAC | Use case |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5mg (BC5) | 1-2 mL BAC water | 2.5 mg/mL | Small cohorts, protocol dev |
| 10mg (BC10) | 1-2 mL BAC water | 5.0 mg/mL | Higher-throughput designs |
What exactly is BPC-157, and why is a 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide interesting for connective-tissue research?
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide fragment derived from a sequence identified in human gastric juice. Prescott Bio supplies it as a lyophilized peptide in two vial sizes. Every lot is assayed by HPLC (purity) and mass spectrometry (identity).

In the pre-clinical tissue-repair and angiogenesis literature, BPC-157 is one of the most consistently cited peptides for cytoprotective and connective-tissue models. It is commonly studied alongside TB-500 (a thymosin beta-4 fragment) in combinatorial pre-clinical designs.
Prescott Bio supplies BPC-157 in 5mg and 10mg vial sizes so researchers can match presentation to cohort size and dose-response design. Certificates of analysis are batch-specific and available on request via the /coa lookup. All product is sold strictly for laboratory research use only.

Why buy domestic vs cross-border import?
| Prescott Bio (Canadian domestic) | Cross-border import | |
|---|---|---|
| Ship time to Canadian lab | 2-4 business days from BC | 7-21 days plus CBSA hold risk |

Questions Canadian labs ask before their first order
-
Is BPC-157 the same as "BPC Canada"?
Yes. "BPC Canada" is a search shorthand for BPC-157 (Body Protective Compound 157) sourced from a Canadian supplier. The molecule is identical to BPC-157 supplied anywhere else — a 15-amino-acid pentadecapeptide fragment. Prescott Bio ships it from our British Columbia facility with a batch-specific CoA. -
5mg vs 10mg — which vial size should I choose for research?
The 5mg presentation suits smaller-scale dose-response work and short cohorts; the 10mg presentation reduces per-vial reconstitution overhead for higher-throughput designs. Both ship in kits of 10 vials and come from the same synthesized lots. -
How is BPC-157 reconstituted?
- Wipe the vial stopper with an alcohol swab.
- Draw the target volume of bacteriostatic water (typically 1-2 mL).
- Inject the diluent slowly against the vial wall — do not aim at the peptide cake.
- Swirl gently to dissolve. Do NOT shake.
- Store the reconstituted vial at 2-8°C. Use within 30 days.
-
How is BPC-157 stored?
- Refrigerate lyophilized vials at 2-8°C until first use.
- After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store at 2-8°C and use within 30 days.
- For storage beyond six months, freeze the sealed lyophilized vial at -20°C.
- Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
How fast does Prescott Bio ship?
Orders placed before 14:00 PT ship the same business day from our British Columbia facility. Canadian orders arrive 2-4 business days after dispatch. -
Can I get the current BC10 lot's CoA emailed to me before I commit the PO?
Yes. Request via the /coa lookup with the SKU and we'll send the current lot's batch-specific HPLC + MS CoA PDF. Institutional buyers can request it before submitting a purchase order.
