Why is CJC-1295 paired with Ipamorelin in one vial?
CJC-1295 (no-DAC) is a synthetic tetrasubstituted GHRH analog and Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide ghrelin-receptor agonist. Prescott Bio supplies the pair as a single lyophilized blend vial — 5mg CJC-1295 + 5mg Ipamorelin, 10 vials per kit. Every lot is assayed by HPLC (purity) and mass spectrometry (identity).
Read more about the mechanism
When co-administered in pre-clinical models the two act on parallel arms of the GH axis — CJC-1295 at the GHRH receptor and Ipamorelin at the GHSR-1a receptor. This combination is widely cited in the growth-hormone-axis literature as a way to engage both secretagogue arms in a single study design.
The "no-DAC" designation distinguishes this CJC-1295 from the DAC-conjugated form, which is a separate long-half-life molecule. Only the no-DAC form is used in this blend. Certificates of analysis are batch-specific and available on request via the /coa lookup. All product is sold strictly for laboratory research use only.

What's the difference between CJC-1295 with DAC and no-DAC?
The "DAC" designation refers to a Drug Affinity Complex conjugation that binds the peptide to serum albumin, dramatically extending its half-life. CJC-1295 no-DAC (used in this blend) is the unmodified analog with a short half-life, typically paired with Ipamorelin in pre-clinical designs. CJC-1295 with DAC is a separate molecule; the two are not interchangeable in research settings. -
Why is Ipamorelin often blended with CJC-1295?
The two act on parallel arms of the GH axis. CJC-1295 is a GHRH analog acting at the GHRH receptor; Ipamorelin is a ghrelin-receptor agonist acting at the GHSR-1a receptor. The pre-clinical literature discusses this pairing as a way to engage both arms of the growth-hormone secretagogue axis in the same study design. -
How is this blend reconstituted?
- Wipe the vial stopper with an alcohol swab.
- Draw the target volume of bacteriostatic water (typically 1-2 mL).
- Inject the diluent slowly against the vial wall — do not aim at the peptide cake.
- Swirl gently to dissolve. Do NOT shake. Both peptides dissolve simultaneously.
- Store the reconstituted vial at 2-8°C. Use within 30 days.
-
How is it stored?
- Refrigerate lyophilized vials at 2-8°C until first use.
- After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store at 2-8°C and use within 30 days.
- For storage beyond six months, freeze the sealed lyophilized vial at -20°C.
- Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

How fast does Prescott Bio ship?
Orders placed before 14:00 PT ship the same business day from our British Columbia facility. Canadian orders arrive 2-4 business days after dispatch. -
Does the CoA show both peptides separately, or a combined assay?
The CP10 CoA lists CJC-1295 no-DAC and Ipamorelin as separate line items, each with its own HPLC purity and mass-spec identity result against theoretical mass.
