KLOW vs Glow blend

Blend Components Total mg per vial Distinguishing arm
Glow (BBG70) BPC-157 + TB-500 + GHK-Cu 70mg 3-peptide base
KLOW (BBKG80) + KPV 80mg Adds alpha-MSH tripeptide

What four peptides are in the KLOW blend, and why blend them?

KLOW is a colloquial name for a four-peptide research blend combining BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and KPV in a single lyophilized vial at 80mg total. Prescott Bio supplies it in kits of 10 vials. Every lot is assayed by HPLC (purity) and mass spectrometry (identity).

Read more about the four components

Each component targets a distinct arm of the tissue-repair literature: BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid cytoprotective pentadecapeptide; TB-500 is an actin-binding thymosin beta-4 fragment often studied for angiogenic activity; GHK-Cu is a copper-carrier tripeptide cited in extracellular-matrix remodeling models; and KPV is a small alpha-MSH tripeptide fragment studied for anti-inflammatory activity.

The related Glow blend (BBG70) combines the first three without KPV — KLOW adds the alpha-MSH tripeptide on top of that base. Certificates of analysis are batch-specific and available on request via the /coa lookup. All product is sold strictly for laboratory research use only.

Questions Canadian labs ask before their first order

  • What does KLOW stand for?
KLOW is a colloquial vendor name for a four-peptide research blend combining KPV, BPC-157, TB-500, and GHK-Cu — with the "K" referring to KPV, the alpha-MSH tripeptide that distinguishes it from the earlier three-peptide Glow blend. There is no formal chemical nomenclature behind the name; it is simply how researchers refer to this specific 4-peptide combination in the pre-clinical literature and product listings.
  • How is KLOW different from Glow blend?
Glow (Prescott SKU BBG70) is a three-peptide blend: BPC-157, TB-500, and GHK-Cu at 70mg total. KLOW (BBKG80) adds a fourth component — the alpha-MSH tripeptide KPV — at 80mg total. Researchers choosing between the two typically decide based on whether the study design calls for the anti-inflammatory arm KPV contributes.
  • How is KLOW reconstituted?
    1. Wipe the vial stopper with an alcohol swab.
    2. Draw the target volume of bacteriostatic water (typically 1-2 mL).
    3. Inject the diluent slowly against the vial wall — do not aim at the peptide cake.
    4. Swirl gently to dissolve. Do NOT shake. All four peptides dissolve simultaneously.
    5. Store the reconstituted vial at 2-8°C. Use within 30 days.
  • How is it stored?
    1. Refrigerate lyophilized vials at 2-8°C until first use.
    2. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water, store at 2-8°C and use within 30 days.
    3. For storage beyond six months, freeze the sealed lyophilized vial at -20°C.
    4. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
  • How fast does Prescott Bio ship?
Orders placed before 14:00 PT ship the same business day from our British Columbia facility. Canadian orders arrive 2-4 business days after dispatch.
  • Does the CoA report each of the 4 peptides individually, or is it a combined assay?
The KLOW CoA lists BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu, and KPV as four separate line items, each with its own HPLC purity and mass-spec identity.
