Payment
Three ways to pay: credit card, Interac e-Transfer, and cryptocurrency. Cards are the default; crypto orders get an automatic sales-tax exemption. Everything you need to know is below.

Credit card
Instant Canadian sales tax addedVisa and Mastercard via Stripe. Charged at order confirmation. Card data never touches our servers — Stripe collects it directly.

Interac e-Transfer
Bank-to-bank Canadian sales tax addedSend an e-Transfer from any Canadian bank to the address shown at checkout. Order ships once the transfer clears (typically within 30 minutes on business days).

Cryptocurrency
Optional No sales taxBTC, ETH, and USDC via CryptAPI. Order confirmed automatically once the network confirmations land. No sales tax on crypto orders (see below).
About crypto payments
- Supported coins. Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USD Coin (USDC). The exact list at checkout is dynamic — if a coin is temporarily out of routing, the option is hidden.
- No sales tax. Crypto-paid orders are processed net of Canadian sales tax at our end. You are still responsible for your own tax reporting; consult your accountant.
- Confirmation. Order status flips to paid once the network confirmations land (typically minutes for USDC on Layer 2, up to an hour for on-chain BTC).
- Refunds. Crypto refunds against the original wallet are not offered because of exchange-rate volatility and irreversibility. Where a refund is required, we issue store credit.
What we do not accept, and why
- PayPal, buy-now-pay-later. These providers do not allow research-chemical merchants on their networks.
- American Express. Amex has similar underwriting restrictions for our category in Canada.
- Apple Pay / Google Pay. Not enabled — same underwriting posture as Amex.
- Wire transfer, cheque, cash on delivery. Settlement delays and fraud risk with no benefit over Interac for domestic orders.
If a payment method you rely on is not listed, email support@prescottbiopeptides.st — we review requests and add methods when the volume warrants it.
Security
- Card data. Entered directly into Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). We never see or store your full card number.
- Transport encryption. All traffic to and from the site uses TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Fraud screening. Stripe Radar screens card orders in real time; we manually review flagged orders before dispatch.
- Chargebacks. Disputes are handled through the card network. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first — most disputes we see are misunderstandings and are resolved faster over email than through the bank.

Why is there no sales tax on crypto orders?
Crypto orders route through a separate settlement path. Consult your own tax advisor about how the transaction is treated on your side — Canadian tax obligations may still apply to your own filings regardless of how we invoice. -
What payment methods do you not accept, and why?
We do not accept PayPal, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, cheques, cash on delivery, or wire transfers. PayPal and the major buy-now-pay-later providers do not allow research-chemical merchants. Amex has similar underwriting restrictions in Canada. Wire and cheque introduce settlement delays and fraud risk with no benefit over Interac. If you have a payment method you would like us to consider, email support. -
Is my card information secure?
Yes. Card details are entered directly into Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified) and never touch our servers. We store only a masked reference — last four digits, brand, and expiry — for refund and reconciliation. All traffic to and from our site is TLS 1.2+ encrypted. -
When is my card actually charged?
Immediately at order confirmation. If we later cancel the order (for example, an inventory shortage), we refund your card the same business day. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
